Lesser Mouse Deer (Tragulus javanicus)

Lesser Mouse Deer (Tragulus javanicus), photographed by seeks2dream
David and I walked around and I took color shots of flowers. Tried climbing irons with fair success. Sulit and his family came in, also Mr. Curran.

Lunched at the Currans and afterward saw the mouse deer in a pen, little deer about 15″ long and found only in Palawan. The Currans have a pet monkey which they want me to photograph.

David felt dizzy all day and I did also for some reason, although we have not been eating the same food. Had a good sleep this PM and felt better.

Had a pleasant dinner at the Currans. Mrs. Curran is from the US South and has been in Brazil with her husband. He is a regular woodsman.

"The Currans" are my grandparents - Hugh M. Curran and Elma H. Curran.
