Parang to Lebak, Mindanao, Philippines

Photographed specimens, etc, in a very active morning. Then started developing.

Weighed anchor at 11:30-noon and started with engines for Lebak, a port 50 miles south where David had reports of a native Eucalyptus. Reached Lebak at about 9 P.M.

Spent afternoon looking over photo albums etc with Anne & resting. Played two games of Chinese checkers with Marian, winning each.

Crew names as follows: (#1)Ah Gun; (#2)Ah Fook (Fung Choy Fook); Cheong Kan Shu; 1st Engineer Mo Su (Tao Ra Po); 2nd Engineer, Hon (Kwan Hon); Tai (Po Tai); Kai (Lung Kai); 1st cook, Ho Su; 2nd cook, Jack (Ho Jack); steward Sam (Li Shing).
