Gorontalo, Sulawesi, Indonesia

Written by Edward Beckwith on Sunday, March 3, 1940

Had a good sleep but slight sign of a cold, sore throat and pains in leg muscles. Not serious.

Received about 5 letters from May forwarded from Manila and dating back to December. She reported having examined 80 Kodachromes almost all good. Everything going well, nothing of importance.

Stayed on boat all day. Visitors in late afternoon. Considered equipment for trip. Marian is giving Hugo a lot of junk in the way of medicines.
