Had a comfortable night but did not feel better in the morning than I did yesterday after sleeping on boards.

Started developing before breakfast and with Hugo’s help things went rapidly and by 4 P.M. we had finished all 12 rolls, making a total of about 140 pictures nearly all of which were excellent. Temperature of developer was up to 83 degrees and time for Agfa Supreme was 4 min. One film showed slight reticulation and I mixed fresh solution. The whole proceedings was most satisfactory and results extremely good.

At 5:30 Hugo and I called on Mr. Te Velde and I gave him the negative of a picture I made of his family. He was greatly pleased with it, as was his wife. Last evening she sent me some Dutch cheese, although not the same sort as Edam, delicious cookies and a Chico.

Hugo and I stayed up till 10:30 cutting and filing the films and got the whole job finished.
